Woodworking - Puppet Making Afternoon - Tues 7th July

Students explore properties of materials, movement and joining techniques as they design their own character puppet and construct it using a range of supplied materials, tools and techniques.

 The first part of this experience is a  safely supervised woodworking experience  of puppet making  which Includes -

• All the Wooden parts, hardware and materials for students to build their project with easy to follow guidance from fully qualified professionals

This hands-on woodworking project gives kids the opportunity to learn to use real tools safely under supervision from our professional woodworking team while getting creative and using imagination to create a character!

The second part of this experience allows children to play with their puppets in a puppet theatre, showcasing who their character is and what his/her strengths are, if we do have time we can even make our own puppet theatre on the day , time permitting.

Each child will be offered afternoon tea and a bottle of water throughout this experience.

Suitable for ages 5+
