Silversmith bangle Workshop:

Make Your Own sterling silver , brass and copper bangle set

Location: Grounded Village Studio
Suitable for: Ages 8–17 & Adults (Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult unless pre-approved)

Join professional silversmith Jemica in a hands-on, creative workshop where you’ll learn to design and fabricate STERLING SILVER bangles using a range of professional tools and metals. This session introduces you to the fundamentals of silversmithing smithing, including sizing, soldering, hammer texturing, polishing, patina colouring, and more.

You'll create 2-3 handmade bangles, with the option to make additional 

Whether you're a beginner or looking to expand your skills, this workshop is a fantastic way to explore the world of jewellery making in a supportive, guided environment.

What You’ll Learn

• Basic metalsmithing & silversmithing techniques

• Using hammers, texturing tools & polishing equipment

• Working with soldering flame and bangle sizing

• Applying patinas for colour effects

• Techniques used in silversmithing

What’s Included

• Recycled metals (Copper piping, Aluminium, Brass)

• Sterling silver metal

• All necessary tools & safety equipment
  

• Use of apron during the session

• Light snacks, cordial, and water (BYO lunch or order from nearby café)

• Gift box or pouch to store your creations

What to Bring/Wear

• Enclosed shoes (mandatory)

• No loose clothing

• Hair tied back

• Reading or focal glasses (for close-up work)

Conditions

• Minimum of 6 and maximum of 9 participants per session

• Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult unless pre-approved

• If the session does not proceed (e.g. low numbers), a full refund or reschedule will be offered
