Silversmith Bangles with charms - Fri 17th Aug

Our amazing  Silver/ metalsmithing  workshop is designed for both children and adults who wish to learn and develop ongoing skills in this incredible art form. Guided by a professional metal and silversmith, participants will explore a wide range of silversmithing skills and techniques in this hands-on workshop to create a few their own sterling silver  bangles in various metals  including precious sterling silver together with charms for all bangles made.

FRIDAY 17TH AUG 

Choose a selection of metals and explore the texture and hammering technique to make 2-3   bangles , making the design from scratch, advancing on skills  learning about the process and equipment as you go.

you will also make one- 2 bangles from sterling silver in whatever style you desire, and 1 -2 bangles in other metals such as brass, copper or the like.

All Bangles with have their own charms made by you! 

 WHAT YOU’LL GET

• Sheets necessary for the metals  of recycled Aluminium, brass, copper. 
• Findings to turn your  creations into jewellery / wearable art
• Use of an Apron during the workshop

Fully guided and instruction from a professional

Gift box to store your creations to take home
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR

• All necessary tools and materials will be provided on the day
• Enclosed shoes
• No loose items of clothing (as they may get caught in equipment)
• Hair tied back
CONDITIONS
This workshop is designed for children aged 8 years to 17 years, adults and teens.

 children under 10 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult

There is a minimum  of 3 and maximum for 8 participants for this workshop to go ahead- if the workshop does not go ahead you will be refunded or a new date  may be offered.
