Shell Paint Palette Experience

This stunning Shell Paint Palette Experience is a brand-new workshop offered at Grounded Village Studio — the first of its kind in Queensland and destined to become a fast favourite.

During this immersive 2-hour creative experience, participants will:
• Roll, shape and mould their own paint palette using clay
• Choose from a curated range of shells to paint, decorate and inset into their palette
• Learn finishing techniques to elevate their piece into a functional artwork

Each shell will be sealed using UV resin, making your palette suitable for real paint and water use if desired — or you may choose to use your piece as a jewellery holder or trinket dish. The choice is completely yours.

🎨 Finishing Options
As the clay palette requires air drying, guests can choose one of the following finishing options:

1️⃣ Studio Finish (Complimentary)
Leave your artwork with us to air dry and be professionally sealed with UV resin.
✨ Ready for collection in 7-10 days
✨ Fully sealed & waterproof

2️⃣ Complimentary Take-Home Varnish Kit
Take your artwork home and, once fully dry, apply a clear varnish finish yourself.

3️⃣ UV Resin Take-Home Kit – $80
Includes UV resin and a UV lamp, allowing you to finish your palette at home and continue creating similar resin-based artworks in the future.
